Lebenslauf

Erik Sippel begann 2010 das Studium der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik (EEI) mit dem Schwerpunkt Informationstechnik an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität (FAU) Erlangen-Nürnberg. Im Jahr 2015 schloss er sein Studium mit dem Abschluss Master of Science ab. Im Anschluss begann er 2016 am LHFT seine Tätigkeit als wissenschaftlicher Assistent, in welcher er sich insbesondere den Forschungsthemen Analog-zu-Digital-Wandlung, Kalibrierung von Radarsystemen und Indoorlokalisierung widmete. 2022 schloss er seine Promotion mit dem Thema „Holographic 3D Indoor Localization“ ab. Seine Forschung wurde unter anderem mit dem ATE-Promotionspreis ausgezeichnet. Aktuell arbeitet er mit dem Ziel der Ausgründung innerhalb des EXIST-Forschungstransfers „inveneer“ daran, die präzise Indoor-Lokalisierung von Beacons und Endnutzergeräten innerhalb des Bluetooth-Standards umzusetzen.

Abschlussarbeiten und Stellen für studentischen Hilfskräfte

Insbesondere im Rahmen des Startup-Projektes „inveneer“ ergeben sich regelmäßig neue Themen für Abschlussarbeiten und studentischen Hilfskräfte. Bei Interesse, bitte vorbeischauen oder per E-mail melden!
